national parks
Old Faithful
no guess on flinty
No experience with Fiddler other than listening to soundtrack
The closest I've been to Sydney Opera House is seeing it pictured for trips to Australia on TPIR.
14/20 on the Zuffranieri 20.

I've seen the film version of Fiddler; not sure if I've seen a stage production of it.

Been inside the Sydney Opera House but haven't seen an opera in it.

Had more than 11 correct FJ's during Jason's run (15/20).

Never seen Fiddler

Guessed Mauna Loa

Too lazy to count how many I had correct, but I think it was less than 11.

Hello Dolly!, state colleges, Old Faithful (I knew Pele = Hawaii, but couldn't come up with a proper guess), Sears/Willis Tower
And I was kicking myself for not being able to pull up Bon Homme Richard.

Haven't seen Fiddler on the Roof, never been to the Sydney Opera House, and definitely never seen Fiddler on the Roof at the Sydney Opera House.

By my count, I was 8/20 on FJ!s during Jason's run.
Oh, what has science wrought? I sought only to turn a man into a metal-encased juggernaut of destruction powered by the unknown properties of a mysterious living crystal. How could this have all gone wrong?

I knew it was a Hawaiian volcano, couldn't name the right one. I kept trying to turn "skinflint" into an adjective starting with "flint."

13/20 on Jason's FJs. Fie on you for making me research previous FJ threads.

Edit: I also have a winning record against him in LL, but league realignments took us away from each other three years ago.

State colleges Tuesday
Old Faithful Wednesday. Could not make a connection from Twain to Hawaii. Probably would have picked a a different volcano anyway.

Have seen the Fiddler movie long ago

Never been to Australia.

I kicked Wednesday's around for a while, but the Hawaiian pantheon is rather a weakness of mine. Also, I was unaware of Kilauea's recent activities. I thought the description a bit overblown for Old Faithful, but figured Twain was just trying to be a writer.
I'm smart and I want respect.

Mon - Sound of Music, thinking it was something abstract

Took a tour of the Sydney Opera House the day I landed in Oz. Had to; it was closing to the public for APEC the following day and I don't think it reopened before I left.
The best thing that Neil Armstrong ever did, was to let us all imagine we were him.

Knew the landmark was in Hawaii, had no idea which volcano. Went with Diamond Head since it's the easiest to spell...
Totally missed the libretto hint...
Flinty didn't sound right, but it was the best i had...
Fiddler's not one of my favorites, but I've seen it more than once.

Also said Yeats for the last FJ. NHO Bonhomme Richard or flinty.

I remembered how panicked people were about Kilauea. It was on the news almost every day for a month in my area.

14/20 for Jason's finals. Only missed Victoria Falls, Gath, 2016, Tolstoy, O Canada, and Andrew Jackson.

0 for 5 because I didn't figure out Sydney Opera House until there were only about three seconds left in the think music.

After looking up definitions, I'll assume that my response of "flint-hearted" would have been deemed incorrect.

Ended up being a strong week for me. I have not been inside the Sydney Opera House, but my wife has (and has seen an opera there), so I can get family credit or something.

I’ve been to the Sydney Opera House on a tour and then I saw a modern rendition of Henry V there. It wasn’t very good but when I was there, no operas were performed.
