The race is on to check the valuations of the bookends in WHAT'S THAT AWARD FOR? After 6 votes it's 100% each.

Arthur C. Clarke is more identifiable than the Clio Awards, but both are easy.
I hesitated on Pirate's Booty 'cause I wasn't sure if it takes 's...

5/5. I don't keep careful enough records to know how I would have done from the fourth podium on Thursday.

Never heard of Pirate's Booty.

Kentucky for Bowling Green.
A quick count has me just short at $5200 + correct on Thursday.
Oh, what has science wrought? I sought only to turn a man into a metal-encased juggernaut of destruction powered by the unknown properties of a mysterious living crystal. How could this have all gone wrong?

Yes, not necessary at all to care or vote on the 4th podium option. It was requested, so I included it.

After barely avoiding the box of shame the last two weeks, I've got only my second ever box of glory :o

A great week of FJ questions - nothing obscure (like "Rubaiyat"), but no YEKIOYDS, only WECIBS, and WAGS.

I watched Friday's game just now and thought I had missed it until checking this board. I knew it was the collection with Ali Baba and flying carpets and genies, but was unsure of the name. My thought process was "Tales of/from the Arabian Nights". Since I didn't know the preposition of choice (for my imaginary answer), my answer would be just "Arabian Nights". If I need to revoke my BOG, just come and pry it from my cold, dead keyboard  .

NHO the Pirate answer.

I didn't really attempt the Bowling Green question because of distraction by the weird team names. Do you boardies seriously know the names of the team mascots from all the NCAA schools?

Geez, MB, can't you figure out a way to do the math for us lazy people too? You are amazing dude. Thanks for being a grownup.

I had $7600 plus the $2K Herman Wouk clue that was a DD. I have no illusion that I could hold a candle to any of the three contestants. Rifling, pulsar, and damn Yankees is pretty good pay, however.

My specific correct response on Friday's FJ was Arabian Nights.

I thought the Bowling Green clue was probably going for Ohio, but I clammed on it. Would have gotten it on the rebound.

Odd that 2 of the extra clues in this week's poll are at the $200 level.

$11,600 in Lach trash on Thursday including the clue values of the 2 missed DD's.

Negged Friday with the Epic of Gilgamesh
Nearly went with Bible Belt on Thursday due to my familiarity with that part of the country, but decided the writers probably weren’t quite that tricky, given how strongly the rest of the TOM pointed to Dust Bowl.
