A benefit of being old is you can get Suzy Quatro.
Would Suzy Q have been taken as acceptable?

I was going to put Suzy Q, but then thought, "isn't that some blonde girl with a high voice?"
I've never heard of her referred to as Suzy Q.

The song I most remember her for most is her duet with Chris Norman "Stumblin' In."

I figured the original Italian name in the Suzy Quatro question was "Quattrocchi," and since it said it was shortened I dropped the last syllable. I couldn't have guessed "Suzy Quatro," but "Quattro" was good enough. I got three points for it, which, given I only got two other questions right, was a hit to my opponent's defensive efficiency but probably the right choice nevertheless; it was just lucky for me that an acceptable answer was derivable without one having the knowledge the question really sought.

I know I didn't make up the name Suzi Q...but here is a reference (and if I did make it up...I'm owed some Australian bucks :) ):

https://www.imdb.com/title/tt9783620/

ETA: CRAP!!!! Now that I've posted this, immediately after I remember the person I was thinking of: Stacey Q!

I guess this means as of yesterday (and too late to get that Australian money), I did make up the name Suzi Q

Of course there's also the song "Susie Q" by Dale Hawkins and made famous by CCR.

Outlier?

In the 42 matches from the beginning of LL82 through LL83/MD17, I had a grand total of 3 MCW's. Yesterday, in LL83/MD18 alone, I had 3 MCW's.

Kosman koin said "no" when I chose between "Norwegian Wood" and "Nowhere Man." C'mon.... Nowhere Man sounded like a much better title for a novel, though Norwegian Wood came to mind first.

This is some Mandela Effect going on here, because I thought Suzi Q was a real person too.

The Suzy Q is also a Hostess devil's food snack cake (similar to Drake's Devil Dogs).
Not many people can say they've lost four times on Jeopardy!.

I too started with Quattrochi (went to high school with a couple of them) and dredged up the name Suzy Quattro though i couldn't tell you a thing about her. I got three for it, a no brainer based on my pop music record. I'll have to ask my friend Tom Q if he's related to Suzy Q.

Not a three-sided Kosman koin that included Michelle Ma Belle?

"Michelle" was the only other song that I could confidently place on Rubber Soul, but it didn't feel like the title of a novel.

Murakami is an extremely popular author in the quiz bowl canon. Norwegian Wood used to come up all the time, so that was an instant get for me in what has been a brutal past few days. Suzi Quatro's name rang no bell whatsoever for me, though I have only ever seen a few episodes of Happy Days.

I can't believe that I've been playing LL for all these seasons and I still make rookie moves like leaving the Suzi Quatro question blank rather than taking the obvious stab at it based on the "Italian for four eyes" clue.

She was only in a few episodes, so don’t feel bad about not remembering her character.

Two sports questions in the same day? And a relatively easy history and pop music for a mid-40s hair band fan? More please...

Anyone who knows anything about cycling knows EPO, and I happen to love playing Pai Gow at the casino. And I saw Ratt's current incarnation a couple years ago with Dokken, pretty great. 4(4) - 0(1) win to stay in 5th, still only 1 point out of promotion.

My only two six packs of the season so far have come this week (Monday and Thursday), so I'm flying high right now. I've moved from 20th to 11th in my rundle over the last few days and I'm now right at my lifetime QPct. I'm expecting to crash back down to Earth at any time...

And if you're old and lived in the Detroit area for years (raises hand), she's an instaget.

That's pretty much my story, too. After starting off this season on a blistering pace (three six-packs in a row, a first for me), I've regressed to the mean, but still sit well above the last few seasons for whatever reason (morbeedo's suggestion of OG trivia makes some sense)
