...yeah, along with about eleventy-million other things that have changed since you-know-what appeared on the scene. But I feel ya, buddy. This hurts in a special way. As if it's not bad enough to be sheltering in place and not seeing anything of the world, but then the TV and internet go down. Damn, I may have to start conversing with my wife!

I'm actually enjoying the social distancing requirement to stay exactly six feet apart.

Before the order came out, my wife made me stay twelve feet away. This is better.
I'm not the defending Jeopardy! champion. But I have played one on TV.

They could show UToC from 2005 as this would take them to the end of August, then encore the final weeks of both the ToC and the 2020 College tourneys, starting the 20-21 season on time with the Teachers postponed until November.

Frankly, James' run might be the easiest sell to fill in the remaining 4-6 weeks, since it's just last season, and he's a highly recognizable name. And, coincidentally or not, they haven't seemed to rerun his episodes on the weekend J!, which basically is cherry-picking other Season 35 episodes.

I cant say if they're playing them now, since I lost the weekend J! to 7:30 PM Saturday infomercials, but it's a decent trove of 33 episodes that have a "theme", and that even people who aren't really into J! would watch. Especially the earlier ones, before he became "Jeopardy James".

I can confirm that none of his episodes have aired on a Saturday.
Here are the Saturday reruns for reference up to May 23 since the app for my TV provider lists the episodes 23 days in advance. Note that the first five reruns are from Season 34 (I remember them all).

Jeopardy! tweeted goodbye to Harry Friedman today, which I guess is as good as tweeting goodbye to the rest of Season 36.

I think the rest of Season 36 is still going to air. According to sources such as Broadcasting Cable and Hollywood Reporter, when they announced Friedman's retirement, they said that his contract would expire today, so that's probably why Jeopardy! tweeted goodbye to him.

Someone I follow on Twitter mentioned he will be on Jeopardy on May 19. His name is Jackie Wong.

Incorporating this information with other available information (including alamble's report that the Teachers Tournament will air starting on Memorial Day), this might be the schedule:

May 4- 15: GOAT bookended by Ken's first and last games

May 18-22: regular games that were recorded without an audience on March 10

May 25-June 5: Teachers Tournament

June 8-12: regular games that were recorded without an audience on March 11

And I believe that those are all of the episodes in the can.

The reruns of both Jeopardy! GOAT and Wheel yesterday were preempted on WABC due to the Robin Hood Benefit Concert. Both shows are airing on a one-day delay, as they showed Match 3, Game 1 of GOAT and the October 1, 2018 episode of Wheel. This means that WABC will air Ken Jennings' loss on Saturday, May 16 instead of Friday.

Los Angeles is considering a ban on fans and sporting events until 2021. I understand Jeopardy isn’t in the city of LA but could such a ban extend to things like TV show tapings?

For reruns after the ToC & (likely at some point during the summer) College Championship how do we convince the powers to show 3/20/03 & 3/21/03?

There are quite a few hurdles that J! will have to leap over before getting to tape new shows. COVID has to calm down, and frankly, we don't know when that will be. Then, you have to figure out the people: Is Alex even still hosting, or will he retire? Because, frankly, this past September I thougth I was watching Alex's last season due to his cancer. Will he do a farewell month at the start? Will Johnny do voiceovers from home for safety? How will contestants get there? Local contestants only? Completely new format with remote contestants Zooming in and a representative from a local affiliate to watch over the contestant at a distance for cheating (ala Andy from Ellen's show) and no buzzer?

The question is how far can you bend J! before it stops becoming J!, and how close we can approximate the J! from the beforetimes. Given that there's little to no hope of a vaccine or a cure by September, and that testing and contact tracing on a national scale is sporadic, I'd say we're not going to have J! any time soon.

The good news is that there's well over 2,000 of "usable" episodes that are taped in HD to start off J! in lieu of season 37. Silly to me that affiliates are fussy about SD for J!, but I guess they are - it would be like airing black and white shows in the 70s or 80s. It's one thing when you're dealing with sports, where HD matters, but the extra width of HD doesn't do much for J!.

Rob Worman posted on Reddit yesterday that the ToC is rerunning from June 22-July 3. This means that James will re-air on June 24, 30, and July 2-3.

So I assume that leaves June 15-19 as an unknown rerun week, I suppose, since after this week, there are 5 weeks between now and the ToC rerun, and there are 4 weeks of unaired shows (week 1 of no audience, teachers' tourney, week 2 of no audience)

Just did a Reddit search, it looks like the heads-up he got was a vague "end of June". He never gave the exact dates, so it might be June 15-26.

No, he said that he would be rerunning on June 23, so it's June 22-July 3. And yes, June 15-19 is still unknown, though as I said earlier in the thread, my provider lists the episodes 23 days in advance on their app, so on May 23, I'll post what's airing that week, since that's when it should be revealed for me. I'm hoping they rerun regular-play episodes besides Ken's first and last shows. Here is what Rob said:
"I got a head's up that the 2019 ToC will rerun at the end of June. (tune in on 6/23, maybe this time I'll come up with Miss Havisham! ;)"

They just had the college tournament so I doubt they want to rerun that so soon. So who knows what will happen.
