David Hankins reminded me of Prince/King Joffrey on Game of Thrones.

The DJ round ended with three TS clues (the last two stand and stares) worth $4,800. Suppose Ken had been a bigger sports fan and gets those. Then there is enough time left for the $800 clue and he gets it before time runs out.

That leaves him with $20,000 and her $10,000. Think he offers the tie? Does she bet it all?

Ironically, those stadium clues are the kinds of clues, like state and world capitals, Shakespeare plays, and US presidents, that I would think might be on the list of "things trivia buffs know". Many superchamps seem to be "almanac people", by which I mean that at some point in their childhood, they just started reading almanacs and lists. (In fact, I think Ken literally said he did this. Or maybe it was James. Or quite possibly both.)

Of course, that's not to say that they're not generally well read and generally curious. But even if you're not a sportsball fan, it might help to at least know the team and city/state/region names for the four major sports, as well as the last 2 years of champs and losers - and major stadiums/arenas/parks, too. Smoothie King Center might be a little too inside baseball (basketball?), and it might also elicit giggles since it's just such a weird name and seems almost like sponsorship....but I'm sure Fenway Park is fair game. Joe Lewis also seems fair game, since he's a famous boxer.

I thought Turner Field was overvalued. The Olympics had just been there eight years earlier and Ted Turner is a very well known person in his own right and the Braves were one of the top teams in the 1990s. I was surprised Ken didn’t get that, even if he isn’t a big sports fan.

What did he say? I (and my recorder) missed the start of the show.
On YT I turned it up with a jeopardy 2020 search.
Great, I'll never unsee the people in the comments saying Ken and James lost on purpose.
Don't forget that James threw the GOAT tournament to Ken, too. Out of "respect". He's just that great a guy, that James.
