Re: FJs for the 6/8/20 week
I'm not enthusiastic about the show going into reruns, but maybe a break will be good; I've gone from 100% to 80% to 60% on FJs the last three weeks.
Might have come up with Pierce if I'd had 30 minutes instead of 30 seconds. Might not have.
I'm a little ashamed to admit to the brain hiccup that led to my Friday miss. I knew who they wanted and immediately said Toni Morrison. Then went into reverse and started second guessing "Morris? Morrison? Morrissey? Morrisette? Morris the Cat?" and changed it to Morrissette.
Unfamiliar with Breathing Lessons; the Wharton combination was pretty immediate. Went with Carson with about 75% confidence level.
I'm not the defending Jeopardy! champion. But I have played one on TV.

Well, isn't that ironic?AFRET CMS wrote: ↑Sun Jun 14, 2020 2:29 pm I'm a little ashamed to admit to the brain hiccup that led to my Friday miss. Guesses Fillmore on Tuesday. Negged Friday with Alice Walker; knew it wasn’t Maya Angelou, went back and forth between Morrison and Walker before settling on the incorrect answer.

A perfecto to end the season? I'll take it. I'm just glad to have the 5/5 after some lousy weeks recently.
I learned not too long ago that Anne Tyler wrote The Accidental Tourist. I'm surprised that factoid stuck.
I think I managed to watch all 190 episodes this season.

Garfield on Thursday.. it hit me that it was probably Caesar twenty seconds in but didn't switch for some reason.
Missed a couple games around the holidays that were preempted on my DVR.
Many thanks to archivists, mods, poll creators and everyone else for another great season!

Having the game put in the archive on the same day is such a game changer. I often come here and see a discussion in the daily thread that makes much more sense to me when I can quickly check the exact wording of a clue.

Bumping the poll in case anyone needs to vote or change votes.
