Jane’s charity wished she had bet 0 in the FJ! round. Too bad for Cheech and his charity that his sole solve did nothing to get him out of third although he did win the second game of the 2-day final for a saving grace.
Michael does not lose on J! overall and based on his work on Better Call Saul he definitely has plenty of marbles left for a guy that used to be known for playing Lenny on L&S.
Jane is currently playing the nana/mother-in-law on the ABC sitcom United We Fall and gets laughs each week.
By 2010 I finally knew enough about the country to solve the clue while earlier in J!’s run I would not have been able to transform the clue into a solve.
M$M on Monday. There may have been some flaws in picking the 15, but the event is a good one. Big hits and big falls for J! heroes and between J! and Sports J! all 15 went on to play again.

Not the best played game for a tournament final but the overall scores were good.
I wasn’t a regular watcher during the M$M so I am looking forward to watching it.

That was the most delightful Celebrity Jeopardy game I ever watched.
All three could hold their own against better than average players in a normal J! game.

Re: Friday, May 7, 2010 Game Recap and Discussion (SPOILERS)
This game reminds me of how my first digital receiver crapped out just a few weeks before my ToC aired, and I had to record it (to videotape) under suboptimal conditions while waiting for the company to send me a new one under warranty, and I didn't have things set up properly and just recorded 30 minutes of white noise instead of the first episode, and the other episodes were lacking in quality (not to mention in 4:3 fullscreen instead of the letterboxed 16:9 I preferred). I figured I'd get better recordings in the summer reruns, but they reran the celebrity tournament instead of the ToC (even though it was a 14-episode tournament and they had 10 days allotted for it). I thought they could rerun it in summer 2011 since there wasn't going to be a ToC in season 27, but they introduced the Teachers Tournament that season, so they had three tournaments to rerun. I may not have the recordings I made anymore, and I still haven't seen the Ryan/Liz/Patrick QF. (I do have files of my episodes, at least.)

Re: Friday, May 7, 2010 Game Recap and Discussion (SPOILERS)
Something just jogged my memory. I forgot to complain about the typical flub in J6 THE BIBLICAL SENSE $1000: In Genesis 3, God warns Eve away from some fruit, saying, "Ye shall not eat of it" nor do this to it. It was a TS, which is good since there is no correct response. I was able to predict the response they erroneously wanted, but I don't know if I'd have rung in to take that guess. What's maddening is that they even cite chapter, though not verse, so why didn't their fact checkers check their facts?
Spoiler
The expected response is "touch it", but that's wrong for three reasons: 1) God communicated the prohibition to Adam, not the woman. (The name "Eve" is used anachronistically in this clue, but J! rules say that's allowable so we'll let it slide. ) There's no record of whether Adam then passed the rule along or God spoke to the woman in a separate event. 2) The prohibition was made in chapter 2, not chapter 3. And 3) As communicated to Adam, the prohibition is only against eating from the tree. There is no prohibition against touching the tree or its fruit. The supposed prohibition of touching is introduced by the woman in her conversation with the serpent when she explains God's command. Many commentators regard this as a deliberately ominous narrative sign that things are about to go pear-shaped. (Ha ha! I didn't even notice the appropriateness of that expression until I was proofreading this post for errors that I will somehow miss. My subconscious is funnier than I am!) The woman has added to God's word. That conversation takes place in chapter 3. Presumably the clue-writer just took the woman's word for it rather than checking her facts.
