I won my Day 5 match, 2(2)-0(1). Thank goodness for Mork and Mindy and Haiti! This brings my total number of correct answers for the week to 5, and I'm still just 1 point out of the promotion zone in my rundle.

Thorsten's questions so far this season are just not matching up with what I know! With a 0.349 answer percentage through my career, I am only batting 0.167 through week 1 of this season's competition.

I am 11/25 so far this season. The % for my entire D rundle is down as well. This seems more difficult than last season for me as well.

Oddly enough, I only got Mork and Mindy because two days before, I went into a Wikipedia rabbit hole starting with Happy Days after seeing Pinky Tuscadero come up in the TD game.

Thirded. A lucky 3 pts. to seal the win and bring me to 1-3-1 through week 1. One of my worst career starts. Can only go up from here, right?

/I think I used that cliché earlier this week already.

Wow... at least -8- acceptable answers for the Billboard question and still only a 33% get rate.
The best thing that Neil Armstrong ever did, was to let us all imagine we were him.

My first thought on that question was Red Hot Chili Peppers. Then I talked myself out of them and into The Dave Matthews Band. Classic example of overthinking.

I got it thanks to the series Reilly Ace of Spies. Prisoner of Trebekistan probably helped to reinforce it.

Probably quite a few like me tried to parse just WTF Modern Rock meant to Billboard. In my case, that effort was hilariously unsuccessful.

This was me... I ended up debating between White Stripes and The Killers.

As a teenager at that time, I cannot emphasize enough just how big Linkin Park were then.

+1 for Nickelback. I keep hearing about them. I opted for them over Blur and Blink-182. Never thought of any of the ones that were correct.

I WAGged Coldplay so I was amazingly on the right track (they did top that chart once) but give me a list of 16 bands including the 8 accepted, and I'd only have a 50% chance of getting it right.

I hear ya. My guess was Coldplay. If I would have thought about it more then the most likely of the bunch that would have occurred to me is Red Hot Chili Peppers.

Another Coldplay guess here. I wonder what’s on that chart these days. Rock is dead, sadly.

Well, if Rock weren't dead, it'd then be Plant or Animal (or Fungi or Archaea or...)

I guessed Coldplay, as well. Don't know much about modern music anymore; for me, good music ended early in the 1990s. Thank goodness for Sirius XM with its 70s/80s/Classic Rewind/Classic Vinyl/The Groove channels.

I was surprised that the Red Hot Chili Peppers were still big in the first decade of the new millenium. They were pretty big when I was in college.

After a third goose egg on MD6, I FINALLY hit a batch of questions that matched up with my knowledge base on MD7, winning 7(5)-2(1). My only miss was the alkane question.

I had Green Day but decided to change it to Nickelback last minute.

I also mixed up Sarah Michelle Gellar and Jennifer Love Hewitt. Oops.
