This might be the first time that new episodes have been added to the service. In fact, I wasn't under the impression they were going to add more episodes until the second half of this year.

I don't think anything from before the turn of the millennium was added, but TuneIn's been broadcasting Season 2 and 8 episodes this week, so it's a nice mix of old and new-ish being made available to watch/listen to.

Yeah, that was a bummer to see, especially since I was trying to access a game the day that they were all taken down. I'll put the anecdote in a spoiler tag so it doesn't take up space.

When I heard that there were new episodes added to the channel, I got excited and tried to get my long distance boyfriend (who admittedly isn't that into Jeopardy) to watch a game that I thought was a good example of a fun come from behind victory. He informs me that the season the game was in no longer exists. I check the episode archive myself, and yep: it's gone. I already had a recording of that specific episode saved, but dang. I guess Pluto is going with a rotation of episodes or something?

For the curious, I'll also put the game I'm referring to under a spoiler tag. Can you guess the dark horse victory game?

Yes, Pluto is going in the rotation of episodes, maybe the episodes Pluto yanked will be resurfaced elsewhere such as Roku or Freevee. The live channel uses the same episodes as the ones that are currently featured in Pluto's On-Demand version. The episodes are largely from "The Best of Alex" collection from both Netflix and Hulu, and yes the March 16, 2007 episode is part of "The Best of Alex" collection. Here's something in mind, J! has/had more episode packages on Netflix and Hulu combined(220) then there were for WoF(165). The latter only dates back to Season 34. And who knows, the episodes that were on Crackle will show up on Pluto next and will yank all of the other season premiere episodes out of Pluto's rotation as well as the 2014 Teen Tournament and the 2011 ToC.

In total, that is 101 episodes that are new to Pluto.
