Cris had 10600 at the first break. Yeah, that's a good start on the way to 20 wins and 3/3 on DDs for +10700 doesn't hurt either.

Cris went to NFL TEAMS BY HOME STADIUM first and while he did fine there, his opponents were able to get correct response there along the line as well.

The FJ! clue had me interpret the "Dreams" nickname to solve it while The Amazing Race has probably used the first nickname in some season(s) to make both halves of the clue helpful.

I wish there would be a pic of the contestants for the next taping day when they arrive and see Cris is still there.

Is it sufficiently pinned after the first hint? ;)

I imagine places like Salzburg, Leipzig, Prague, Warsaw, Krakow, heck, even Paris or Berlin might have been described in some way associated with classical music or as classical music centers. I don't know if any of them have that particular phrase as a common nickname.

Not one of my first records, as it was for Ken, but like him, easy trash pick-up.

Category also helped...My first thought was Prague before I recognized the famous resident.

I had the correct answer from the first part of the clue, but without confidence. Once I figured out the second part of the clue, I knew I had it.

My first thought was Bonn, birthplace of Beethoven, but that hasn't been a world capital for some time. So I switched to Berlin, but couldn't think of any justification for the nickname other than the Philharmonic. It obviously had to be European, so I checked in with Paris and London and quickly rejected them because they weren't German enough to make the claim. That led me to the right place in no time. I just followed Papa Haydn from London back to Austria. I stopped there and knew it had to be right. If I'd thought of Prague that wouldn't have swayed me. Prague gets you Mozart, but so does Vienna. And Vienna also gets you Haydn and Beethoven and Schubert (and Bruckner and Mahler and Strauss and Schoenberg and Webern) and a world famous Philharmonic that I saw conducted by Bernard Haitink in Orange County, California in the early 2000s.

Happy with that response, I turned my attention to the second part of the clue. I was momentarily puzzled because I was looking for a guy with a classical connection even though the clue wasn't suggesting that. I gave up on that angle quickly and switched to surrealist painters and while I was puzzling over that possibility, my subconscious coughed up Freud and I was even surer that Vienna was correct.

Interestingly, I might have gotten this faster if the nickname had been "Birthplace of Classical Music". That leads straight to Haydn and to the First Viennese School. I think Vienna should upgrade its nickname.

For the other nickname, they should go with City of Fraud and claim that they'd meant to write Freud and they can't understand how that happened. Must've been some kind of slip.
