Ooh - calling back to last week's discussion, there's an opportunity for a show-off response. ("Who are Yvonne, Annette, ...")

The J! writers have been fairly consistent in their position on the Lady Jane Grey's queenliness; good to know for a FJ! clue like this.

1999-11-04 I WAS A TEENAGE... $400 This unfortunate "Lady" was only 15 years old when she began her 9-day reign over England in 1553
2003-02-03 GHOSTS OF LONDON $1000 It's said the ghost of this nine-day queen appears on February 12, the anniversary of her execution on Tower Green
2005-01-03 JANE GREY'S BLUES $400 Of 10, 15 or 20, Lady Jane Grey's age when she became Queen of England
2013-07-22 HISTORICAL NOVELS $1200 "Innocent Traitor" is "a novel of" this "lady", queen for less than 2 weeks
2014-02-21 NOTABLE NAMES $1000 One of Henry VIII's grandnieces was this lady who was the titular queen of England for 9 days
2018-01-18 JANE $400 Briefly Queen of England in 1553--9 days brief
2020-10-05 HEADS UP! & OFF! $1200 On Feb. 12, 1554 she got way too much taken off the top; hope the near-week-&-a-half as queen was worth it
2022-12-06 BIG BOOK ROYALTY $1200 Alison Weir's "Innocent Traitor" is a historical novel of this teen who had a solid week-&-a-bit run as queen in the 1550s

Ken, for his part, teaching the controversy in his post-reveal remarks.

Less likely to cause an international incident than saying Taiwan is a country.

I'll bet if I was further into it I would have gotten this FJ since Henry VIII and Thomas More are both characters in the book.
Thing is, More doesn't die - and presumably get buried - for 2 more volumes... ;)
Correction - I believe More dies in the second book, Bring Up the Bodies.

They're in the chapel on-site. I went to the Tower twice, once with a group of students and once with just my wife when she came. I didn't go to the chapel with the students, but did with my wife. It's not in one of the main buildings; you have to make a little effort to go see it.

Tried to put a picture up, but it wouldn't work. Oh well. Feel free to add me on fb if you have it and it's on there.
Thanks for the tour guidance. We always traveled as free range tourists, so we missed all the second level stuff. My visits were well before the cell phone age so our vacation pictures were limited and crappy. Kodak 110 film is a whopping 13 x 17 mm negative size. I think that prehistoric cave paintings have higher resolution than those images. Sad thing, I didn't know the difference until I was in my 30's.

I really hope Hillary appreciated getting that last answer in the DJ round, what with it creating a runaway and keeping her and the defending champ locked out of a potential win. I’m frequently amazed in the absolute brain dead game theory skills contestants exhibit, but I should be past the point of being surprised.

Could we not call contestants “brain dead”?

Thanks.

Another example of someone who doesn't understand what it's like to be up there. And, as stated immediately above, more decorum is expected.

It's been repeated, but if third place can prevent second place from breaking a lock without breaking it themself, they pretty much can't win no matter what they do. Third needn't care whether second has a chance to win if that wouldn't do third any good.

Besides, in an alternate universe where Hillary puts down her buzzer for the last clue, Troy probably gets it instead, and where does that leave us? (Well, we get one less angry shortsighted post in the game thread, so maybe it does have its benefits after all.)

Exactly.

I believe he thinks that third has no chance to win and because of this third should put down the buzzer and let 1st and 2nd fight it out. Which of course is ludicrous. He thinks that 2nd should be mad that 3rd didn't give him a chance to answer the last clue to stay in the game. But what he fails to realize is the flip side. That if 3rd simply quits then the leader will be mad that 2nd was given more of a chance that he should have been.
