It looks like I'm totally confused

At least you're right, I think, that the show has not asked about Firesign Theatre, in at least 23 years

If they ever do, probably won't be a video clue...Robert K S wrote: ↑Fri Mar 17, 2023 7:39 amAt least you're right, I think, that the show has not asked about Firesign Theatre, in at least 23 years

Here's a judges' question: For some reason, I said Monty Python's Flying Circus. Acceptable?

Re: Thursday, March 16, 2023 Game Recap and Discussion (SPOILERS)
Would this be like when someone adds correct lyrics that are not a part of the song title (which is consistently judged acceptable)?
Re: Thursday, March 16, 2023 Game Recap and Discussion (SPOILERS)
I'm thinking more about the fact that the troupe's name comes from the title of the show, not the other way around. The very end of this clip is particularly illuminating...Robert K S wrote: ↑Fri Mar 17, 2023 1:44 pmWould this be like when someone adds correct lyrics that are not a part of the song title (which is consistently judged acceptable)?

I would like to borrow Stephen’s lucky penny.

I am disappointed that Ken missed the chance to say “Right, Stephen” when Stephen got Steven Wright right.
For FJ! I said The Sting which I knew was made before 1980. Even with the Nazis, I have a hard time thinking of Raiders as being pinned to a time.

Same response. Knew The Sting was too early, but James Bond made me think of casinos and tuxedos and subterfuge. Never made the connection to Raiders.
I'm not the defending Jeopardy! champion. But I have played one on TV.

The sequel (actually a prequel) tried to move in that direction with its opening nightclub scene.

Got FJ right with the full title. Is it known if "Indiana Jones" would have been accepted? I usually think of them as Indiana Jones, Indiana Jones 2, etc...
I had a dream that I was asleep and then I woke up and Jeopardy! was on.
Re: Thursday, March 16, 2023 Game Recap and Discussion (SPOILERS)
They would have accepted "Indiana Jones and the Raiders of the Lost Ark", because that title was used promotionally for a while, but not just "Indiana Jones".MattKnowles wrote: ↑Sat Mar 18, 2023 11:29 pm Got FJ right with the full title. I got the bronze on Jeopardy!
