I'd rather cuddle then have sex. If you're into grammar, you'll understand.

A Slate piece laments the transformation of Jeopardy from a daily game show into a franchise

(Curiously, Bialik is not mentioned.)

Spoiler for Masters outcome

A strange headline... if anything, the final game showed that James was, indeed, stoppable.

Marvelous Mrs. Maisel
In the finale of The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel, it moves forward in time to 2005, where Midge and Susie, much like Carl Reiner and Mel Brooks, have a habit of watching Jeopardy! together. (The episode is the second half of the first UToC semifinal, Brad Rutter vs John Cuthbertson vs... me).

That was a lot of fun. As they're talking and putting the cassettes in, I knew it was going to be Jeopardy!. Man, am I going to miss that series. It was, indeed, marvelous.

Does the guy just like Bette Midler, or is there some significance to her inclusion?

Isn't it just a guest star/cameo roll call? (Alex Trebek in the same still!)

WTH? it's one of the highest circulation newspapers in the country? Or does your Kingston Whig Standard run more and better stories about Jeopardy?

The opening sentence of its Wikipedia article calls the New York Post a tabloid.

I, for one, disagree. While I disagree with the Post's political bent, and it is, in fact, a tabloid, it is a widely-distributed news source. You know what you're getting when you go there, but you can either click on the link or not. The idea of the thread is to alert people to Jeopardy citations. I will agree, however, that if you go farther right like Infowars (or the equivalent left), it's not going to be allowed on here. And looking up media bias, the Post is the same as Fox News, and I don't think we should be banning citations from them either (he types muttering under his breath).

For my part, I just don't want to see reposted here the types of articles that where all they do is compile a few quotes from reddit and/or Twitter and call it news. That's the definition of clickbait. And so many outlets do this sort of content farming now that it doesn't well serve anyone to be reposting that sort of thing here. So while I don't think a wholesale ban on the Post in this thread is necessary or appropriate, the particular article complained of is kind of junky.
