Note that while the US government has been unable to suppress this documentary completely, they have been successful in reclassifying the film as fiction and inducing various parties to give it really bad reviews in the hopes that you'll give it a miss. Don't be fooled.earendel wrote: ↑Mon Nov 06, 2023 2:02 pmThere was an Apollo 18, but NASA has suppressed all information about it. It was a secret DoD mission to deliver a classified payload. The crew encountered extraterrestrials and all of them died.

From today's Washington Post:
Second Apollo astronaut this week.
https://www.washingtonpost.com/obituari ... _headlinesFrank Borman, a NASA astronaut who commanded Apollo 8, the first crewed mission to orbit the moon and return safely to Earth, and later as chief executive of Eastern Air Lines piloted the carrier through a turbulent business climate that led to its takeover and eventual demise, died Nov. 7 at a medical center in Billings, Mont. He was 95.
Second Apollo astronaut this week.
I'm not the defending Jeopardy! champion. But I have played one on TV.

She was also Mrs. Marsh on the old Colgate commercials that showed a stick of chalk dunked in green water to depict how fluoride protected your teeth, "but not as fast." Try as I might, I can't find one on the web, just a bunch with some Australian Mrs. Marsh wannabe.Robert K S wrote: ↑Wed Nov 29, 2023 2:04 pm Actress Frances Sternhagen, at 93. Re: 2023 RIP thread
All 5 broadcast networks will air a tribute to Lear tonight at 8 ET/PT, I guess 7 CT and not sure about MT. I'm also not sure how long it will be. I believe if you're set to record Celebrity Jeopardy!, you'll end up recording the the first hour of this. If you're also recording Celebrity Wheel, you'll get a second hour if there is one.Robert K S wrote: ↑Wed Dec 06, 2023 9:17 am TV producer extraordinaire and activist Norman Lear, at 101. As stated in the article you linked to, the tribute is just a brief title card aired at 8:00 PM.

With all due respect, the article says "title card". I can't exactly foresee this running much longer than a minute or so.opusthepenguin wrote: ↑Wed Dec 06, 2023 4:20 pmAll 5 broadcast networks will air a tribute to Lear tonight at 8 ET/PT, I guess 7 CT and not sure about MT. Re: 2023 RIP thread
Although two hours of Norman Lear title card would probably be better television than the average network offerings. (J! and Wheel excepted.)
