It would be awesome if they accept 'Suvius again, for old times' sake.

Would love to see if Edison knows how to wager in FJ from that position.

Depends if he was able to snatch Tesla's notes before The Call

The Jeopardy rules go mainstream. Ken accused of being more harsh on Karen than superchamp Stephen.

"Corpse blossom" is probably an acceptable variant, while "Cat's Cradle" in unambiguously wrong.

It's actually a rule that you can change your answer before the host calls you wrong? Like you can say "What are the White Sox? What are the Red Sox?" and if you say it fast enough, you get credit for Red Sox? I'm skeptical, but in the Michael Davies Era, who even knows?

Yes
It's also a pretty solid rule that if the host says "no", nothing you say after is going to help you. Worse yet, you might be handing the answer to your opponents. That's happened quite a few times.

It's almost always the case where the contestant's first answer was either close to the right answer and the host paused, or was a mispronunciation they were trying to make clear, or something of that nature. Very rarely would someone have a chance to change their answer from White Sox to Red Sox unless they were in the middle of saying it and corrected themselves.

Internet perplexed by 10000 daily double wager in lock game

Compared to what some viewers said about Karen in this Fox News article, my accusing her of hubris is downright benign

It's not that I find your use of the h-word mean, I just find it stupid.

The contestant who finished third on Karen Morris's show (she made an ill-advised $10,000 Daily Double wager) is a staff writer at FiveThirtyEight.com and has written a column about his experience. Zach Wissner-Gross explained his bidding strategy but didn't discuss Karen's wager. His column is here:

"Elen sila lumenn omentielvo...A star shines on the hour of our meeting."
