I gave Rob a surname of Schweitzer in a coin toss over Switzer.
DJ13-I assume the magazine is published for more than one person.
Fixed, thanks.

How to keep this thread on page one?

From a TuneIn recording here is 9/17/90: https://j-archive.com/showgame.php?game_id=7514

Lots of fun trying to keep Alex's FJ! round remark to one sentence. :)

I could not figure out what I was hearing on J5 & DJ7. Help, please.

Judy's surname is a guess as each time I listened to it I heard something different from Johnny & Alex from Olsner to Ulster.

Why did Kyle miss the ToC? His map sense was worse than mine as I matched the challengers for 3 countries.

Don't know where the recordings are to listen to them, but "Dots nice" would make sense on a clue about pointillism.

For DJ7, wiki has: "Other terms are sometimes used synonymously with "Shinto"; these include kami no michi... ", so it's probably that.

I am 99% certain the writers were making a pun on "that's nice" so I submitted a correction suggestion putting "dots nice" in quotes.

And I submitted one for kami no michi as well. I don't think Alex was right that "Shinto" is the Chinese, not the Japanese, name for Shinto. Certainly, the Chinese name is Shéndào. But I think the Japanese say Shintō.

Just clicked yet for the all the correction suggestions. Thank you gentlemen.

Yeah, definitely a "T" there when Alex says it for the FJ! round in her second game. I've made the switch, thanks.

Speaking of that second game 9/19/90 - here it is: https://j-archive.com/showgame.php?game_id=7520

Alex was almost ready to let Judy bet $1 on DD3.

For Catherine I gave her Meshner while having second thoughts it could be in the Metsger/Metzker area.

Ann Antell, a teacher from Ypsilanti, Michigan (whose 3-day cash winnings total $18,110)
Good point. If that's right, that means Ann Antell played Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, the 21st, 22nd, and 23rd of January, 1986, leaving January 16-20 the most probable (only?) option left. That would be #354, #355, #356.
I found a newspaper article last night that says Rosalie's two games aired on 1/17 and 1/20, making these games #353, #354, #355.

This is a little off topic, but seeing new games for Leslie Frates led me to look at her other games, and I noticed that in her second game, she played Jim and Scott, and in her ToC she played (eventual champ) Jim Scott.

Leslie Frates, game 4 (1991-02-06) is in from TuneIn. https://j-archive.com/showgame.php?game_id=7525

This completes Leslie's run.

Mark's last name sounded like "Cousy" or "Cusey" when Johnny pronounced it; I've gone for the former. Alex seemed to add an "F" sound to the start in the interview. I have a friend who practices law in Connecticut, he made a valiant attempt to help, but we couldn't get any farther on a name.

More audio games in, great and thanks. I'll call dibs on 9/21/90 to archive today at some point to finish that week of games.
