Airdate according to Trevor Panno is May 7th, 1986 also I should note there's also an episode of J!'s sister show as well in the same video.

Player pics of Molly McClellan, Al Rossi and David DeVincenzi:

It’s a S2 game so a little Google-fu and guesswork on the surnames.
Images not working, not sure what the problem is with my tagging.

No idea if Wolf is a Wolfe or another player matching a celebrity name.
Help, please, with J9. It sounds something like "vuh-nye-ree-man".

And that's what qualified as a top row clue in the J round in 1990. The contestants didn't even have the decency to stand and stare so I'd feel better. Nope. One of them buzzed in and got it on the first try. I hope it was just a plausible guess rather than something he actually knew.seaborgium wrote: ↑Sat Oct 29, 2022 5:31 pmLooks like it's venireman.MarkBarrett wrote: ↑Sat Oct 29, 2022 4:50 pm Help, please, with J9. The category was LAW and the correct response was cued by "this duty"; they must have thought that made it easy enough to teach some difficult vocabulary without guaranteeing a stand and stare.opusthepenguin wrote: ↑Sat Oct 29, 2022 10:14 pmAnd that's what qualified as a top row clue in the J round in 1990. From a TuneIn recording here is that 5/1/91: https://j-archive.com/showgame.php?game_id=7493
that was discussed in another thread.
I'll make whatever changes are necessary for the FJ! round and getting another India Cooper appearance in the archive.

This gets ToCer Jonathan Jacobs a regular play in the Archive.
For the archivists access to audio games I'm not seeing any 2/28-3/6/91 to get a regular play Mark Pestronk in yet.

From a TuneIn recording here is complete 3/25/91: https://j-archive.com/showgame.php?game_id=6085
after previously having just the first 14 clues. I also filled in a couple of missing introductions from S7 games.

Why did Mark Pestronk miss the UToC? He left the stage with only one toe remaining. Ouch on the undisciplined stat line. He has company for winning four games and not playing the FJ! clue in game 5.
Still dozens of ToCers without a regular play game in, but I think this gets one in for all of the ToCers who played in November 1991.
My scoresheet twice showed Lary, so I'm sure that's how he must have been introduced as I would not do that two times otherwise.
The FJ! clue as read by Alex differs from what is in the Resource.

That gets 4xer Kyle Freeman with his first game in and the archive closer to 445,000 clues.

Re: New old games in the J! Archive
I have a couple of correction ideas. J19 I'm guessing should be "contained," not "contain," given the clue is about ancient libraries. And DJ25 should be 1546 (I don't know if that's a mishearing or a typo, but I assume the writers weren't 100 years too late).MarkBarrett wrote: ↑Tue Nov 08, 2022 8:05 pm From a TuneIn recording here is 9/12/90: https://j-archive.com/showgame.php?game_id=7502
