Daytime Emmy nominations are out.
Jeopardy gets another nom for Outstanding Game Show, along with usual suspects Wheel, Feud, Deal, and Price.
Leah Remini scores her first hosting nom for People Puzzler, along with Steve Harvey, Wayne Brady, and a 4th person, who is nominated twice for 2 different shows. Can you guess who?: Spoiler
Pat Sajak, for Wheel and Celebrity Wheel.
More trivia: "Beyond Salem", which scored its first Daytime Drama nom, is a spinoff of Days of Our Lives.
Judge Judy's new show "Judy Justice" (on Amazon FreeVee, which was formerly IMDB TV) got a nom.
And one more guessing question. This year will see the third show to receive a Daytime Emmy Lifetime Achievement Award, after 60 Minutes and Sesame Street. Name it. Spoiler

This seemed odd as 60 Minutes is not a daytime show, my guess is the articles making this claim are indicating that 60 Minutes and Sesame Street were the only prorams (daytime or primetime) to ever be so honored. But I can't find any full list anywhere so it's hard to verify this for certain. It looks like 60 Minutes was honored in 2003: "The academy presented its second annual lifetime achievement award to Don Hewitt, outgoing executive producer of CBS's "60 Minutes," and a crew of past and present producers and correspondents for the program."

Ferdinand "Bongbong" Marcos, Jr, son of the exiled former dictator, has been elected the President of the Philippines in what appears to be a landslide based on initial vote tallies. He replaces departing president Rodrigo Duterte.
An iconic painting of Marilyn Monroe by Andy Warhol has been auctioned for $195m (£158.17m) - making it the most expensive piece of 20th Century art ever sold.
...
The previous record price for a piece of American artwork was $110.5m for a skull painting created in 1982 by Warhol's sometimes friend and sometimes competitor, Jean-Michael Basquiat.
...
The final price also smashes the previous record for a 20th Century work of art, set in 2015 when a 1955 painting by Pablo Picasso - Les Femmes d'Alger (Version O) - sold for $179.4m, including fees.
I never should've given up screenprinting I guess...

A sequel that lives up to the original, the Event Horizon Telescope (which is actually a bunch of telescopes working together) team has released a photo of Sag A*, the assumed black hole at the center of the Milky Way.
...for that price you could buy the previous record holder for world’s most expensive car—the 1963 Tour de France-winning Ferrari 250 GTOs sold at $70 million—twice...
...
...The auction was by invitation only, for customers Mercedes trusts to take care of such a car.
...
...The only other Uhlenhaut’s coupe in existence will stay in Mercedes’ Heritage fleet in Stuttgart.
