Season 39 Preemptions
The first three Monday episodes of the season (September 12, 19, and 26) will be preempted on West Coast ABC affiliates for a Monday Night Football game.
The Thanksgiving episode (Thursday, November 24), will be preempted on East Coast FOX affiliates and West Coast NBC affiliates for football. The Monday, December 19 episode and the Monday, January 2 episode, will be preempted on West Coast ABC affiliates for Monday Night Football. These are all of the preemptions that I am aware of. Also, during football season once again, WBZ (Boston) will preempt Friday episodes for Patriots All Access, however, they will be aired at their normal time on WSBK.

Re: Season 39 Preemptions
I used to be way into football... Was a Raiders season-ticket holder for three years back in the mid-70's.
Now I don't give a bleep, and hate it even more when they get in the way of my J! fix.

I don't see it listed at all. I see football until 08:15. Then Bachelor in Paradise from 08:15-10:15, then The Good Doctor 10:15-11:15, News from 11:15-11:50, Jimmy Kimmel 11:50-12:52, Nightline 12:52-1:21, Tamron Hall 1:21-2:21, Live with Kelly and Ryan 2:21-3:30
Are you talking about Louisiana?
I had a dream that I was asleep and then I woke up and Jeopardy! was on.

KGO has new J! and WoF 3-4 a.m. sandwiched by Kelly & Ryan and Daytime J! This is the kind of situation where DVR space allowing, to record some insurance on both ends.

For searching for such threads I've found that my "KGO" or down south's "KABC" can help bring up these kinds of threads.Volante wrote: ↑Mon Oct 03, 2022 9:58 pmI promise, I ran a search and failed to find it...I saw the S38 thread but nothing for 39. I would not rule out temporary blindness though...it has been a long year...gameshowfandanny wrote: ↑Mon Oct 03, 2022 8:55 pm I already created a thread about that:

Re: Season 39 Preemptions
I guess I should have done this. After downloading the episode off YouTube to watch with my dad at a normal-ish time, I made sure to program a recording as well just to have a broadcast quality copy, with my usual extra minute at the beginning and end for when it shows at non-standard times. As can be inferred from my posting time, I stayed up; however, I was busy watching YouTube and forgot about it. At least it recorded, which my $30 Target receiver doesn't always do when it's supposed to. But my 2:36 recording began during the second puzzle in WoF's triple toss-up, and J! apparently began at 3:44. The recording ended during the pre-FJ commercial. If I had expanded outward 7 minutes on each end instead of 1, that would probably have done the trick. Or I could have set an alarm or paid attention to the time since I was awake to fend off any issues. Re: Season 39 Preemptions
If the previous list seemed long? Just wait until gameshowfandanny does it for Nov. 21 - 25. World Cup, NFL, college football... Fox, CBS, ABC... consecutive games/matches.
If anyone spots a rogue early airing of J! on Black Friday please share.
