Chris had over $13,000 at the first commercial break. That seems like it's go to be among the top pre-interview scores ever.

I thought it was supposed to come before "aphter"!
Speaking of which, I can't believe they blew their opportunity to have a category called BEFORE AFTER. I'd bet that's how the category was conceived. Why did they change it to the colorless and wordy NEAR THE FRONT OF THE DICTIONARY?

Sad to see Cris turn his Holzhauerian possibilities into a sub-Craigian outcome.

You're probably right. BEFORE & AFTER is a famous recurring category. Maybe they thought it would have confused viewers/panelists?opusthepenguin wrote: ↑Fri Nov 25, 2022 3:27 pmI thought it was supposed to come before "aphter"!

Especially since the majority of dictionaries are digital now and don't really have a "front."opusthepenguin wrote: ↑Fri Nov 25, 2022 3:27 pmI thought it was supposed to come before "aphter"!

I just want to know how in the heck "identify Christopher Lloyd from a photo" was supposed to be the hardest clue in that category. That Bosch one was always destined to be a stand and stare.
Not many people can say they've lost four times on Jeopardy!.
