That's a good FJ. It's got the TOM, but the frill is an interesting thing to learn.

Either the clues were on the easier side or all three players were very talented as it's not often that $22,400 is only good enough for third place.

Matthew needed that runaway on a missed FJ! clue when both challengers solved it. Two good wins and then a night's rest might do Matthew some good to return for the next taping day.

The FJ! clue must have done something right as I solved it without knowing the lady's name or the 1,100 number. Matthew is fortunate his miss did not cost him the title.

For those on the Mayim watch, next week's games were the third tape day in a row, so that's gonna be more Ken. Also, when the Monday contestants were shown there was no announcement for a host change.

Huh, I don't think I knew that about the List.

On that topic, IMO it's a movie everyone needs to see once (but the type of movie most people can ONLY see once). Interesting/scary fact: Apparently, Amon Goeth was WORSE in real life.

I also don't know why they asked for "film" critic.

What happened in the DJ round, on $1200 National Park System? It looked (and sounded) like a quick cut or edit, maybe Ricky kept protesting? Then you briefly saw Matthew's podium light up, but then Andrew got the next try.

I thought Matthew was given too much leeway on the question form on “Who’s Afraid of Virginia Woolf”.

No idea on FJ. I was lost trying to think of something military or spy related.

Never heard them called what he was trying to say.

Got FJ fairly quickly.

How can you give too much leeway on something that is already a question?

Like others, didn't know those facts about the List, but WECIB?

Hoping this FJ get snaps my drought here. Feel like the name was familiar, but context was definitely enough.

Had the pleasure of sitting next to Andrew for a few minutes at the start of the tape session.. great guy, real energetic. He and Liz tag-teamed me on the buzzer in rehearsal and I knew he’d be a tough challenger. Not surprised at all that Ricky played well. Matthew looks like the real deal.

Mark: Next tapings after next week’s shows were I think Dec 14 and 15 (both KJ) but sandwiched by the Reunion tournament airing, so one week will air in mid-Feb and the other in what, late-March? I’m not certain what happens after that.

On Camera Audiences lists that December 15 and 16 were the next taping dates after December 6, 7, and 8.

Ken rejected Ricky's response, so Matthew rang in, then Ken said Yes, so Matthew's light went out, then Ken said No, we're not taking that, so Andrew rang in. I don't think there was a cut.

We've literally been champing at the bit for a game where someone does exactly that 'round here! Even better that it wasn't planned

So...Spielberg goofed?
Spoiler
(Itzhak Stern typed the list in the movie, Kingsley did use hunt and peck tho)
The best thing that Neil Armstrong ever did, was to let us all imagine we were him.

People often ask if this kind of response is acceptable, then Ken gives a strong confirmation that it is and not everybody wants to believe it!
On FJ, another movie clue masquerading as something else...

Ms. Reinhard just passed away this past April. This obit mentions that she was not portrayed in the movie...
