Not Lisa's day at all. 3800 all in miss on DD1 when guessing Adam & Even was a sign the game would not go well as Lisa spent the episode playing Sisyphus getting crushed by the end.

Sharon's 14400 Coryat is nothing special while in today's game it was plenty for the lock thanks to converting DD2 and DD3. If Sharon had missed DD3 then that's 10000 against 7600 for the FJ! round and Jacob perhaps could have prevailed.

The FJ! clue was a quick solve for me other than assuring myself I was spelling the name correctly.

A blast from the past was this clue:
Spoiler
#836, aired 1988-04-04 INVENTORS $200: In 1949, he developed the whirlpool bath that bears his name for his 15-month-old son who had arthritis

This showed up on some online trivia thing last year (probably LearnedLeague) and I missed it then. Rmembered it today.

Some info I learned from a legal CLE presentation I attended recently: the correct-response brand was recently purchased by Cleveland-based product design firm Nottingham-Spirk (who brought you the ubiquitous Little Tykes car, the Spin Pop, and the SpinBrush) as a platform to market Nottingham-Spirk's microbubble scrubbers, which will eliminate the need for chemicals to decontaminate the water. Pretty soon all the the correct-response-brand's products will be totally chemical-free.

Thank you Lisa for having a short name since I had to type it so many times with the 10W.

trash: Blake, The Falcon & the Snowman
did not like these boards today.

betting: :( :D :(
Had Hemingway for This Side of Paradise
knew DD3 referenced Sesame Street, but didn't know what they wanted. :? Way too general of a clue.

Not quite a WECIB (thought Waterpik was a good guess), but had nothing except the correct response.

Sesame St. is 1969. Mister Rogers should have been referenced for DD3 by Ken just in case the show did not occur to anyone. Not naming names. ;)

I got Jacuzzi in time.

Lisa made some of the ugliest scowls in television history accompanying her very wrong answers.

It's sounding like everyone who got on will be in some tournament or other.

Hydrotherapy has to lead you to the right response.

TBF if I were on the show (and that's an if), I'd make scowls like Lisa's too. ;)

I wanted to respond with "sword" to the Massachusetts motto clue, but I couldn't find any sword word in the Latin.

Here's the clue:
Massachusetts has ense petit placidam sub libertate quietem, "by" this weapon "we seek peace, but only peace under liberty"

The Wikipedia page about the motto says it literally translates to "she seeks with the sword a quiet peace under liberty." Eventually I zeroed in on petit, which is a verb that can mean to beg, seek, aim at, or attack as with a weapon. So there's not exactly a sword in the motto, though one is certainly implied.

Edit: As Volante says in the first post on the next page, "Ense" is the part that means sword.
