The entire set from All in the Family. Letterman's NBC Late Show set. Carson's Tonight Show set. Jeannie's bottle. A landing party set with tricorder, phaser, and communicator. The bar from Cheers. Batman and Robin costumes. The dog chair from Pee-wee's Playhouse. The Keebler Elves' treehouse. Mr. Bill. Bozo's wig. Clarabell's clarinet. Where did they get all this stuff? (A 58-year-old writer named James Comisar who collected it all.)

The M*A*S*H mileage post, Gilligan's hat, the Minnow life preserver, the Batphone ... it's a remarkable collection. The only thing missing is the Ressikan flute.

I only saw TOS. I said that because I was going to bid on the flute when the pre-sale estimate was $1,200. It didn't go for that.

Okay, this nerd will be the one to say it: Why isn't this stuff in the Smithsonian?
Re: Jeopardy Podium, Anyone?
The description says it is where “Eddie Timings” stood for his five day run.

It says he was unsuccessful in starting his own museum.

Archie Bunker's chair is famously in the Smithsonian. I'm sure that not the only item here that's not unique.

I saw some Deep Space Nine Tribbles going for three hundred something. Man, if anyone really needs a Tribble that badly, just go to Hobby Lobby and DIY!

Pam Mueller scored Podium No. 3 from the "sushi bar" set when it was auctioned for charity in 2002. Now we know what happened to Nos. 1 and 2.

some people collect the original thing for investments but after looking at it I get what you are saying. A furry ball is not the most difficult thing to cosplay. (I have seen cosplay over 300 for certain armour costumes or staffs so that is why I did check to see the reproductive ability of it.)squarekara wrote: ↑Fri May 26, 2023 8:30 amI saw some Deep Space Nine Tribbles going for three hundred something. In terms of the podium, in a world where I had disposable money I would definitely get it but I do not live in that world.

the 1950s Game Show Slide and Reveal Prize Board seems to be the only affordable piece for game shows. from what I can tell. (I mean I guess other than The 300 ticket stubs they are trying to sell.)
