am I the only one who noticed that all but one of the questions took place within the same decade (1940s to 1955) yesterday. I wonder what is up (did he is the same site or Book, did he just go by year on Wikipedia for inspiration which is nothing to be ashamed of, just curious).

I was shocked at the low get rates for the HRE and fellow traveler. Both of those I considered WECIB kinda questions (though I was troubled by the thought that Sputnik means fellow traveler).
I considered blacklisted, I put red scare. I have heard had quite a number of term but never a fellow traveller. when's that came to mind that I knew even before reading that were maybe sympathiser (I know it is misspelled voice dictation is not getting it but 'commiy') and a traitor. it was around there they decided just to put the above seeing of where my train of thought it was going. (usually you will be shunned or worse before there's that many terms to be said) I thought of a Andy Griffin show episode, life (which no one dared to give any suggestions verbally), and anything I could think of as reference. at least I did not spend too much time on this. (I think I spent more time making this post then actually going through thoses) granted I know when I was doing this question I was thinking I never thought I would be doing inserting slang of the 1950s when I signed up for this.
I really wonder where Thorton got this, I do not think this was as circulated a term as he might think. (which makes sense for obscure trivia but still) and it does not help that basically all the questions occurred in the same era giving more of a chance that it was really one source. I mean this as polite criticism. it's really hard to put tone the voice in text but I actually wonder where is source for this. but granted what everyone else has said on this board I think everyone was going the insultment route. still I have been having a good time.
still for some of these questions in general I wish they were less 'wordy' (in a common core way) is starting to give me a migraine which I find is the only downside of this. (how anyone else deals with this or if anyone else is having migraines I would love some ideas.)
edit - I realise that headache also has an expression meaning of being annoyed which kind of understand if someone was confused with some of the above though not where I was going. when I said headache I meant it like I said below an actual physical headache most likely due to the print size within a length of text that I was not able to use the reader feature (The one that makes the print bigger) for and requiring multiple reads. the request was more if anyone had good headache remedies if they experience that problem. sorry if there was any confusion.
