If you can find dozens of contemporary newspaper articles calling a famous person by their middle name, go on ahead! (I'm saying that I can find dozens of usages of "Archduke Ferdinand" and "Arch Duke Ferdinand" on Newspapers.com dating from when he was still alive.)

I started off with small Tuscan towns ... San Gimignano? Siena? Pisa? Then I went to Montes. Montepulciano? Montecito? Didn't have time to get to Monticello.
